Overview
JEE Advanced is the entrance test for the undergraduate courses of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). IISc Bengaluru and some other institutes also use the results. It is organised by one of the IITs each year, which is why the website and bulletin change every year. You must first qualify through JEE Main to be allowed to register. Seats are allotted through JoSAA counselling. The eligibility rules, such as the number of attempts, age and the year of Class 12, are strict and are in the bulletin each year.
