Overview
We hold sessions on admissions, quotas, counselling rounds and documents, in person and online, for families, schools, coaching centres and other institutions. The aim is simple: to explain a confusing process in plain language, before the deadlines arrive, and to answer real questions from the people in the room.
Who it is for
- Schools that want to brief Class 11 and 12 students and their parents about admissions
- Coaching centres and colleges that want to help students understand counselling
- Parent groups, housing societies and community organisations
- Students who prefer to learn in a group and ask questions openly
- Institutions that want a neutral, honest explanation of options, not a sales pitch
How it works, step by step
- 1Understand the audienceWe begin with a short conversation with the organiser: who will attend, which classes or courses, how long the session is, and the questions people usually ask.
- 2Choose the topicsTypical topics are how counselling works, quotas and reservation, choice filling, documents, fees and costs, and MBBS in India or abroad. We choose only what the audience needs.
- 3Prepare the materialWe prepare simple slides and examples that use the official process of the current year, with clear pointers to the official notices people should check themselves.
- 4Hold the sessionA counsellor presents in plain language, in person or online, and keeps time for questions. Parents and students can ask openly.
- 5Answer questions honestlyWe answer what we can in the session. Where the answer depends on a personal profile or on a rule that has not yet been announced, we say so and offer a one-to-one discussion.
- 6Share the takeawaysWhere the organiser wants, we share a short summary of the main points and a list of the official websites to follow.
- 7Follow upFamilies who want personal guidance after the session can book a free consultation. There is no obligation.
What we check and consider
- The exact audience and what they need to know before choosing a course
- That every rule quoted matches the official notice of the current year
- That the session is informative and not a hard sell
- The language and pace that suit the audience
- The format: in person, online or a mix, and the technology the venue has
- Time for questions, since those are often the most useful part
- Child-safety and privacy norms of the institution, followed throughout
- That nothing is promised about results or seats
What you get
- A clear, jargon-free explanation of the admission process
- A chance to ask questions to an experienced counsellor
- A list of official websites and documents to prepare
- Honest comparison of options, including India and abroad where relevant
- An optional short summary to circulate after the session
- The option of a free one-to-one consultation afterwards
What to keep ready
- The organiser's preferred date, time and duration
- The expected number of participants and their classes or courses
- A venue with a projector or screen, or a link for an online session
- Questions from students and parents, collected beforehand if possible
- Any rules of the institution about outside speakers
- Contact details of the person coordinating on the day
How long it takes
Sessions are best held before the entrance results and before the registration window opens, so people have time to prepare. We schedule by agreement with the organiser. The content follows the counselling calendar of the current year.
What we do not do
- We do not promise admission, seats or any outcome to anyone attending.
- We do not pressure attendees to enrol. Taking a consultation is optional.
- We do not give rank-specific advice to a whole room. That needs a one-to-one discussion.
- We cannot confirm rules that the authority has not yet published.
We are a counselling service. We do not guarantee any seat, college, branch or result. Always confirm dates, fees and rules on the official notice of the current year.
Questions answered
Do institutions have to pay for a session?
Please contact us to discuss the format and any terms. Whatever is agreed is shared in writing before the session.
Can you hold a session online?
Yes. Online sessions work well for parents who are far away, including NRI families, and for several schools together.
Can the session be in Hindi or another language?
Please tell us the language your audience prefers when you enquire, and we will confirm whether we can accommodate it.
What topics are most useful for Class 12 students?
How entrance results turn into counselling, how quotas and reservation work, choice filling, documents and what to do if the first round does not give the seat they hoped for.
Is there anything for parents only?
Yes. A parents' briefing explains the process, costs, quotas and back-up planning, so the family decides together. See our parent counselling session.
Will you share the slides?
We can share a short summary of the main points. Since rules change each year, we ask people to rely on the official notice of the current year for dates and details.
Do you cover MBBS abroad?
Yes, when the audience wants it. We explain eligibility, recognition, the cost and the licensing exam needed to practise in India, without promising any result.
